Not at that high a pressure on those injectors. I suggest lowering the originating fuel pressure to something that the injectors consider 60% duty cycle on BAR. Its far too rich to start at stock FP.

Somehow I still believe Fords suck....

      Go figure.

I asked this question less than 2 months ago and have since bought the haltech. Can you confirm for me that you have sucessfuly installed and running a tune able war chip.

Engine bay looks great and despite the hugh snail it still looks close to standard. good work
Definitely a good move going over to a Haltech. Very good ecu's and heaps of local support.
I've heard of success with a w.a.r chip and Maf on 30lb injectors. This guy is on e30tech goes by the name of vanos2990. He tuned his car by altering a base tune to suit his motor. But that was on an m20. Never heard of it done on an m42. Maybe Miller make a 175 ecu chip but I doubt they have turbo base tunes with the chip. The problem with the W.A.R chip is its very difficult to tune from scratch due to it being unable to tune in real time. Most Miller chips are tuned by altering a base tune if there is no turbo base tune for the m42 then its going take forever with many $$$ spent on hours at the dyno.
Your doing well with switching over to Haltech. It will do everything you need and more.

Agreed, there has been plenty of information especially on their forum. I will be working on the car tomorrow night at the tuners workshop and all going well (meaning if we get the car started) should be able to start tuning on the dyno. fyi i have confirmed the trigger angle is 122 deg, but still yet to confirm trigger offest. I will post screen shot and results of ecu setup when finished.

Do you think you should PM Me some details of the setup once you get it going. Looking into going Haltech as well with mine. & knowing what needs to be done with the trigger wheel will be a big help!

Miller just sent me an email saying they no longer cater to the 318. When did you purchase your war chip?

                Congrats on the build.

blue ford injectors are 39lbs not 42lbs...just to clear things up. 42lb injectors are green.
