For the oil drain, I think you'll be fine with the 90 degree.
Thanks dude. Was lookin for you to chime in.

And yeah three in woulda been cool but The down pip I had was already 3" into 2.5" and my HP goals are right around 300hp so It shouldnt be an issue.

MY only gripe is that I feel like it's going to hang very very low, but then again it's a 2.5" and not a 3". Looks pretty though.

Any plans to make the muffler more "pretty"?
Its tucked better then any other exhuast Ive ran. I shoulda snapped some more installed pics. The lowest part is where it has to go under the subframe.

I might get the muffler sitting parrelel with the car so its not at an angle but its not a pretty muffler to begin with, but it works. What were you thinking.

Ill start this post off with:

    Came home to find this:

And ended the day with this:

Basically I build up my downpipe back exhuast. I also heat wrapped my downpipe and welded in the o2 sensor bung. For the exhuast I put a cut out in just for fun. Always thought it would be cool to do it. I love straight pipes but I cant drive like that all the time and I dont feel like pulling my exhuast for a day when I want it. The pipe is all 2.5" and its a summit racing muffler. Its by far the nicest exhuast Ive ever done here at my house with the resources I have. I also remade the section that comes right off the downpipe that I was planning on using but decided it was to restricting

    This was before

And now here is it now

At the end of the night I hooked up my battery and insured my harness install is good so far, starter works and interior lights and everything are good.

I've never dealt with turbos, but from what I've read the turbo oil drain appears to be important. Re-weld, or 45*.
Its actually tapped, threaded, and JBweld sealed on there. There really is no way to get a good seal without coming out of the pan at 90*

I think Im gonna go with a 45.

If that's all you can afford it's fine.

To me, it seems like it is draining upwards. I would put a 45 there instead. Just the way I see it in my head (I have never dealt with turbo oil drains as of yet, but my current build is going in from the top of the m10 pan so I don't have to worry) it seems like it would build up oil and or cause a restriction right there.
