What wastegate to go with ?

    a Tial 38mm should do the trick. Had one with a gt3071r at 23psi and never had any issues.

    But a 44 can't hurt. ;)

      I small wastegate like a 38mm will not work well if yo want to run 10 or less psi. It can't release enough exhaust which will result in boost creep. Higher boost is fine like 15+psi but anything lower you want to run a bigger wastegate.

            sounds like tial 44mm is the one to go with. thanks for the info. I wasnt aware that the 38mm had to be used for 10+ hp. i only want to be around 6-8psi at first to see how the motor holds, then creep up to around 12-14psi.
