from what ive heard from people in the past. using a S3.25 out of a e36 m3, or a S2.93 out of a ES e30 (or optioned eta).1989 325i SETA stroker [delphin] R3V'd 8/31/2011

An s2.93 on a ZF is like an s3.25 on a 260trans, sort of.
But an s2.93 on a 260trans is balls.

I run a 2.93. I have run as low as 3.46 but it wouldn't fully load the turbo in 2nd. The car would go through the gears too quick. The 2.93 is leaps and bounds faster... I get full boost in 2nd and she just pulls for ever. Less shifting tooTurbo E30

Impressive. From what i hear that pretty hard to do with that motor.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

The pistons are thermally limited, I run meth+water inject on the biggest mcmaster nozzle. I also have a ported custom cam, flipped manifold, oring'd block w/ ARPs, bottom end rebuild, full 4" exh. It blew up my trans though so it's down right now.
would not recommend more than 15psi on a stock motor, they just choke past that anyway, M30s are terribly lift limited, so you need a very on point valvejob and then a cam can run 30% more valve curtain or so and wake it up @ high rpms'89 335is +turbo
