    M20 MLS head gasket question?

Currently running stock HG with ARP head studs, gt35 9psi. I blew it and thinking of just going with a MLS one being that I wanna run 12psi now. Can't seem to find a reputable company / site. Any suggestions?

Don't. Rent the isky o-ring tool, o-ring block, install oem head gasket.

I have used Cometic MLS without issues.

Also, don't know why I didn't mention this, but if you popped a stock gasket with arps you have bigger issues than a bad head gasket. If you go and put an Mls or oring the block you risk internal engine damage due to the poor tune and stronger head gasket. Don't even think about turning the boost up until you figure out what caused the first one to pop. Not trying to be mean just know it blows to have to tear an engine apart twice or more in a short period of time. It will burn you out on the car

Correct. Nothing is safe for detonation.

Yep you have other issues. Tune is everything. Kamotors is running like 22psi on old stock hg. I'm running 16 psi and 14psi for the past 25k with no issues and am waiting to get a tune to run 20psi.

Thanks for the advice and everyone else as well, no offense taken either. Yeah it was my fault that it blew I was told not to drive it hard being that the tune was not the best & no wide band. That was what I was debating weather to o-ring block or just run MLS HG. Think It's gonna be o-ring and run the 9psi EASY till I get a better tune. Now how hard is it to o-ring myself? Do I need to take the block out?

Wise choice. invest in a wide band asap to save you money and time in the long run. You can do it block in, 6 is a bit tricky but doable.

I did mine with the block in the car, take your time and the 6th cylinder is a bitch. I had to get creative with the oringing tool handle. The tune is the most important thing you can change or you will be blowing HGs on an oringed block. Gotta pay to play!

What one should I be looking at 100 GRM or 200 GRM?

Detonate with MLS of o-rings and the head gasket won't be the first thing to go, unfortunately.
