ARP's and stock head gasket will be fine for around 18psi with a very good tune.
Look into an S38 head gasket as it has larger cooling passages and is direct fit. I run the MLS S38 headgasket on my B34.

Here's a vid from both cars same race 16psi arp's stock headgasket against a 600whp Integra 60-155.
I was running a 3.73 diff and a 205/55/14 tire. lol.

BMW did 9psi on the m102...I think 16psi with my MS2 will be very good for my light e30. Since you boosted the m30 a lot, what would I roughly be @the wheels?

Roughly 450ishrwhp if you have it set up good. Larger TB switch to drivers side with a 3" intake piping, 2" 1/2 pipe coming off the turbo, large intercooler.
Your clutch will probably shit the bed quickly as the TQ will be higher than the HP. Worth to invest in a good clutch from the start. Look at clutchnet, maybe a stock M5 pressure plate with 4 puck disc might do the trick.

Oh deff go with the T4 HX40. HX35 is too small for the 3.5.

Did you see my links above for TCD clutches? What year m5 plate and would it be about the same size as a 5 or 633 single mass? I got a call to scrap a car, so that is 160 for the cat and over 500 for the car. So I can afford to splurge on a big clutch now.

Never tried it, I'm running megasquirt with EDIS stock coil pack from a Ford.

My clutchmasters fx300 feels like stock other then it being somewhat grabby at first.
I think a pucked disc is a bad idea for just driving around.

btw my stock clutch slipped at 13psi.
Whatever that power level is.

My clutch is going in the swap so I am replacing that first as it is a must to drive the car.

Get that 4 puck and a level red pressure plate? What advantages will I gain wiht a 4 puck vs that stage 4?
