    Clutch Decision... F1 Racing?

Hey all, need someone who has had experience with turbo M20s and what clutches they used. did some searching but didn't find what I needed.

I have a 60mm T4 turbo, twin scroll manifold, twin 38mm gates and Miller WAR Tuning (yeah, yak yak, Megasquirt, yak yak I will upgrade when I have money). I'm planning to run - for now - a streetable 10psi. I've been looking at clutches and the price shift between a clutch that can handle ~350 and ~450 is like $300...... Too much for me. I was thinking I'd just tune the car down to roughly 350 horsepower and use this:
    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/F1-STAGE-3-CL...vxp=mtr&_uhb=1
F1 Racing Stage 3, says it's good to 355hp. Anyone tried it? Does it live up to those claims reliably? I figure my setup, minus twin scroll, is pretty similar to an intercooled TCD kit turbo size-wise and those make something like 300 wheel if I'm correct.

If you have had experience with one of these clutches or want to point me in the direction of a better one, I'd really appreciate it.

Kamotors and crew seem to have had good luck with the spec stage 3 (not stage 3+) clutches. I'm kind of stuck between that and the F1 stage 3.

Sweet pulled the trigger on the F1 clutch for a total of $189.66 shipped. I'm in the middle of exams so progress won't be immediate, but once I've installed it and driven on it I'll be sure to share my review of it.

Lots of good reviews out there. But there's always going to be a few haters so don't be shocked if someone comes in saying they're to stay away from ebay crap and recommend a $500+ oem bmw clutch, PP, flywheel, and starter solution.

I've run a f1 stage 3 on my e30 m50 running 8psi for over 5,000 miles with no issues! Its good to go with a different TOB but the one that comes with the kit works fine, thats what i'm running! I beat it pretty hard too, with multiple drag strip days!

Lol, is that what we are called now
Its a good clutch, although not as for giving as stock from what I hear.

I went with a tcd stage one because I am a baller~ 100% stock pedal feel but def catches harder than stock and does not slip.

The site says stage 2 is for 450tq or less, which is a lot.

so you guys know and I know there is a thread that confirms this of BFC somewhere.....all F1 products aren't created equal.....FORTUNATELY, Us euro boys pulled the long straw. My buddy just ordered a stage 3 for is s52 swap e30.....The Flywheel is a chromoly findanza (unlabeled), the pressure place is a Sachs HD.....stamped right on it, they just paint it blue and I think that someone on BFC confirmed that the clutch disk is a clutchmaster.

Before you go off saying that his is for an s52......pick yourself up an m50 started and search for the e36 m3 kits they offer. M20 stuff is inflated, plus you pickup more surface space on the clutch with the e36 setup. The entire kit (pressure plate, clutch and flywheels) is like $485 from gripmaster.com.

I use a clutch master fx300. It uses a Sachs HD PP that's painted blue. Best clutch I've bought for $400.
