"Safe" boost levels for 300hp, and which injectors?

Hi guys, just trying to figure out what I'll need to piece together for my build. How much boost will I need to run to get to 300hp, and what size injectors should I run to get there? I'm going to be using a cxracing turbo, has to be a t3/t4 flange, but I haven't narrowed it down yet. I'm thinking I should go a little bigger so there's always room to move up from 300hp. Apologies in advance if this is a silly question, boost noob here!

42lb injectors would be close so I would recommend just getting 60lb injectors, as far as boost level goes it depends on the tune. I'm no expect but I would think in the area of 8-12lbs of boost

You can get 300hp 10-15psi, really depends on the tune and how aggressive it is. I was over 300whp at 15psi on conservative tune with a seta 2.7i engine.

Calculator says 300hp would be maxing out 6 30lb injectors.

The mustang cobra 24lb injectors commonly used came from a 300hp v8- but remember that it had 8 injectors, not 6. With six of the blue top 24lbers i think you would outflow them at 240 hp. Thats still 70hp over stock e30, hah, and they are stupid cheap.

Thing is you want injectors slightly bigger than the actual hp you are going for so that they don't stick open 100% of the time.

If you want 300hp I would do the gm/chevy 30 or 36lbers minimum (they are cheap) and probably go ahead for the ford lightning/svt cobra 42lbers so that I never have to make them bigger if I ever want more than 300hp.

We are talking about a $100 difference on ebay- but without proper ems you wont be able to tune any of these injectors properly. If you are using megasquirt or something similar you could use 80lb injectors if you wanted and it wouldnt matter- but if you are using a fmu and chip the up-ramp of fuel under boost could lead to flooding if you chip guy didnt tune for those particular injectors and that particular fmu ramp. In that case you should be asking your chip guy what size injectors to buy.

You must get tuned for the injectors you can't just grab any old generic eBay "turbo chip". Tuned moronic can handle 42lb no problem with appropriate fmu. Haven't tried anything larger though.

Notice how nobody really mentioned an amount of "boost" to get 300? :)
You don't talk in terms of psi when asking to reach a certain amount of power. Too many variables, especially turbo choice, to give a straight answer!

42lb injectors will handle that and some more.
I actually have a ready to run 3.5" Miller MAF/ECU/tune setup for 11-13psi on 42lb injectors for sale that put me at 325hp. Daily drive it for a year+ till I put my car on jack stands for some reworks. Lmk if you're interested. We are local and I can help you with anything else you need.
