Removing my Turbo, Need some advice

If it's a top mount it wouldn't take more than a weekend to revert it to stock if you have all the parts.

From what you describe it sound like you're getting fuel cut from a bad pump or clogged filter. Could also be spark blow out. Don't drive your car because fuel cut causes a lean condition which will eventually blow your headgasket or worse. I think your problems are unrelated to the turbo. Change your plugs, get a new fuel pump, change fuel filter. Then come back with more questions. Those 3 things can easily be done in a day, just google how to do them.

Someone probably put many hours putting that turbo on. Why undo all that instead of spending a few hours troubleshooting it.

Wait what? I hope this is a joke... If serious, then first sit and think why you would do this to yourself? ha, Well, I say take it to a shop that knows these cars and knows turbos.
Let me know if you need all the stock parts. I have them all. Heck, let me do the work... that car can be back to stock in less than a day, and way less than 1k. It would feel better to see its full potential as it is though.... turbo.

I'm willing to bet it was sold un-tuned or the fueling is wrong. Give us a shot of the engine bay.

It won't take more than a weekend as mentioned to remove the stuff.
You should be able to do it literally in a day.

The hardest part is probably the turbo/manifold/downpipe assuming you're able to get a wrench in there. Everything else is just vac lines and clamps.

I think there's a banana in the tailpipe.
