Added sc and chip to ecu now no spark

I drove a running obd1 M52 swap into the garage in the fall and added a powerdyne charger,3.5 Maf,injectors and swapped the chip that matched the parts and came with the kit I bought from a reputable guy.
Only wiring was the maf wiring extension,car now has no spark.

Looking for ideas on what to check,can the chip be installed backwards?.Can the maf extension be causing an issue somehow?.

I have the car at a shop I trust since I couldn't figure it out but would very much like to shorten the hours they spend on it.

All ears for ideas.

Check for the coil pulse signal coming from the ecu. If there is no spark signal from the ecu, check the chip. Yes if they have a notch on one end, this indicates orientation and can be set incorrectly. If there is spark however, follow the ignition system to the spark plugs until you find the problem. Are you certain you're getting fuel though?

Another question,if I did what I think I did(installed the chip backwards,yes I'm an idiot)the chip is likely toast which sucks a lot but is the dme going to be as well?.
If I pull it out and find the chip backwards will it ruin my good chip by installing it correctly in this dme?.

Car runs with the old tune so at least its just the chip and I don't have to hunt down a dme as well.

Now to see if AA will take pity on me and cut me a replacement for a reasonable fee.

I'd feel better if it was bad luck and not my own foolishness.

AA never bothered to respond so I'm going with a TRM custom tune,the credit I get back for the current TRM tune made it a no brainer.
