yes there is. you use another aftermarket ECU such as Autronic, Motec, Link, VEMS, etc.

RRFPR and chip can work, pretty sure thats how TCD does it.

by the time you buy a rrfpr and a chip, you've spent enough to buy megasquirt, but you cant tune anything... just use megasquirt

RRFPR and a chip. It will run of the AFM but dont expect it to make much power or last for long. My 2cents.
