i recently found fuel in my intake boot. Has this happened to anytone else and what was the problem?

I had fuel in my intake boot once. It was cold start injector related, cause by faulty coolant temperature sensor wiringComment

The cold start valve is supposed to run for 8 seconds and only when the engine is cold. It's managed by...<drumroll>...the thermotime switch (not cheap IIRC). Circumstances matter. If your car cold starts, runs & warms up right, it could be that the valve weeps (not enough to effect driving) but when you turn off the car the remaining fuel pressure pushes gas into the intake boot.Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch.
