    Best spark plugs to use?

I tryed searching but couldnt come up with much. But...I added an mst blaster ss coil to my 318i m10 the other day and am looking to change out/upgrade plugs and wires next. What plugs would you guys recommend for good performance? Resistor type, non resistor type, brand, gap, etc..

I was told by a BMW tech to always use just a solid core spark plug. Like an NGK plug, the cheaper one. Stay away from Bosch Platinum's imo.

Here are a few plugs considering you have a 91 318i?

There are other's who will add to this but this is my opinion, I am fairly new to the m10 and m20 engines but have much experience in racing with small block Chevy engines. I have ran solid core plugs in 500hp drag motors with no problems and tried platinum plugs and they were terrible imo.

use the IE large wires (7 or 8MM) availible in different colours and we use NGK
i think the plugs are like a bp6et or something. they have three ground electgrodes and the fat solid core to them. they work very nice for us

In an M10 engine, NGK BP6ES, or BP6RES, if you're going to use low- impedance wires on a street car.

Ok local part store had the bp6es's in stock so I just picked those up a little while ago. What is the best gap to set them at? Or should I leave them where they are preset?

I'm using ngk in the m30 and some diamond fires in the m20.

0.030's fine. They're usually a little less from the store, and that's ok too as long
as they're all about the same.

I would suggext using BKR type plugs instead of BPR - they are much easier because they use 14mm wrench.
