Exhaust header heat shield

Hi,
I don’t like the looks of these heat shields and I tried to clean them but it’s not going well.
is it possible to clean these in situ or\and how much of pain is to replace them?
ive dealt with exhaust studs before and it is not fun.

Buy new copper nuts, the gaskets, socket extensions, and universal joint adapters.

Liquid Wrench will help to unscrew the nuts.

Thin socket will help you alot it is a 10mm or 12mm.

They actually look decent. I suggest you stop paying attention to them.
