Hartge h26 camshaft - what do i have?

    Hi lovely people!

    Me again :D

I managed to open the valve cover and check the camshaft to take a look on what i've got - but without removing the camshaft itself from the header, its really hard to tell any information about it.

I've found 2 'casting marks': 92b and 4, as in the pics below.

Does anyone has any idea of which cams this could be? Are they original 323? Are they hartge? Are they something else? Haha

Thanks a lot for helping this great adventure!

I just texted my buddy Frank. He bought my 1984 H26 car from me. I should have answer. My old H26 193hp on early models.

2nd note, I would consider upgrading to newer head bolts that are torx. The heads pop of the older hex ones.

Replace them one by one, no pressure on coolant system. :)

I spoke to Frank about the H26 cam. He believes it is a 278 cam.
I read on my Hartge catalogs H26 motor. It did not show what size cam. It is 10:1 compression and 2560 displacement.
