Radiator Sag, Who Knew??

looks like c cooling passages got deformed/expended. Not sure about your geo location or car's history ...maybe it is a freeze damage?

Been a California car its whole life, though started out in Sacramento which is pretty north. BUT, radiator has existed only in Santa Barbara (Very south) and Los Angeles (very souther)

Sadly, you need to click quote, copy the text, unclick quote, click quote on another post and paste in the earlier quoted text in order to do multiple replies. Otherwise just use the old ^, ^^ or ^^^ thing.

Replace the cooling system cap with a 1 bar version.

An auto water pump can't really build pressure like the oil pump can-
but a cap that doesn't vent sure can.

Might also be worth checking for combustion products in the
cooling system- the times I've seen/done that have all involved head gaskets
that weren't sealing any more.
