"Simplest" M20 Stroker using S52 Crank

I know that many would recommend using the 2.9 IE Mahle stroker pistons with the m52 crank, but a friend offered me a free s52 crank in good condition. From my research, it seems as if the S52 would make for a 3.0l, and I could use stock m20b25 pistons. Is that correct? if so, what rods would I need to use?

no you cannot use stock pistons, that e30 zone wiki is wrong, you will need custom pistons with a different compression height ( height distance from pin centre to top of piston) to compensate for the longer stroke otherwise the piston will come out the top of the block too far
