    does the crank position sender

control the fuel pump and ignition signals at the same time?

possible for it to send an ignition signal but not operate the fuel pump?

It only generates a signal that goes to the ECU.

The ECU generates the ignition and fuel pump signals. The crank position sender has nothing (directly) to do with either one of those.

except that the ECU will not turn on the fuel pump, coils, injectors, or basically anything without a crank signal.
