So I Seafoamed my e30 this past friday after reading many pages on this forum about the different opinions of using seafoam. The majority of the responders pretty much swore by it and how it made a noticeable difference while others either said they didn't notice anything different. I figured what the hell and bought a can from Walmart.
I tapped into the fpr and sipped half a can of seafoam through there while putting the remaining half into my gas tank. Sorry no video on the white smoke it produced (my flip ultra camcorder came in later in the afternoon).
I followed the proper procedure and once all was completed, I felt a smoother acceleration and more responsive throttle. However it did not cure the lack of torque my car has been experiencing.
I had my valves adjusted a few weeks ago and my car became a lot quieter. However after seafoaming my car this is how it sounds now. It got a lot louder after using Seafoam. Thoughts? Ideas? My friend is going to take a look at my car next weekend and he said that it's possible that my valves got "bent" or something with the "rockers". I'll be doing an oil change tomorrow.
