    Brake Lining Light

    Hey guys!
I was wondering if you guys could help. It's a simple question regarding the brake lining light on the check panel. When it's on what is most likely wrong with my car?

    Thanks for the help

    brake pads worn out?

either that, or the sensor has gone bad, or is shorting on something. that's most likely.

In 7 years I have never had the light come on due to an actual worn pad. It's always a broken sensor or the wires rubbing on something, giving a false reading. I finally removed the brake sensors and the stupid bulb from my cluster. It's lighting my OBC now. :)

Same here. I keep a good enough check on my car that I don't need a light to tell me my brakes are bad.
