cam seal is pretty easy thankfully. I did mine with the last timing belt/wp job.

I heard that was a real b!tch to do. Glad to hear a contrary experience.

Does any one have an experience with the bavauto set? Or know of a site where I can order oem bmw gaskets? The closest dealer to me is 200 miles away.

I use Tischer BMW for OEM parts (much cheaper than my dealer will ever give me -- even when I had my "regular" discount). Find the PN in real oem and put it in GETBMWPARTS.com

I've had very good experience with them.
