    M20 flywheel swap

In the process of changing from a dual mass to single mass flywheel, I have come upon this question that hopefully some of you more experienced ones can answer for me... The single mass is about half an inch thinner than the dual, so the stacked height of the flywheel, disc, pressure plate and release bearing doesn't appear to be high enough for the clutch slave cylinder to move the release bearing arm far enough to properly disengage the clutch. If you've done this and understand my poorly worded question please share your info.
