hey yall i got a problem ok here we go. i got a running problem but its not bad its miss firing like hell than shes fine and runs like a tank i put new plugs cap rotor coil and still but its not as bad i dont have an o2 yet got to get that done but still she should run fine just a pre set air/fuel i know its not the cps but i think its the mafm any one with hints thanks

check for vacuum leaks, happens all the time.

So you have no O2 sensor and you wonder why it runs bad? If you have a late model car i.e. a 173 dme it adapts the closed loop fuel map based on the o2 sensor readings when it is in open loop mode so no o2 sensor means it will run like shit. Change that and get rid of vac leaks.

you don't have to run on o2 sensor.

i think he meant that he hasnt replaced his o2 sensor yet.

ok well i put long tube headers with custom flanged exhaust full dual 2 inch into a single twin tip muffler and i havent got the bung plug on yet about to in a few days but i think it the mafm i have the bav auto intake kit with the kn filter does that help more?

check for vaccum leaks then test the afm with a ohm meter. it should start out about 3.25 and as you SLOWLY open the barn door should raise over 4.5
