ESP since you said you just did the head gasket. you may not have noticed the problem till you hit up the drift-track-parking-lot. it obviously isn't the muffler if you took it off and the problem persists... and i've seen cats break up inside and everything but never clog up bad enough to make the manifolds glow, but i imagine it is possible.
havnt taken the muffler off yet. Its welded on

If you go to an exhaust shop, it will take 20 min for them to put it on the lift and check if there is backpressure issues in the cat. After that, they may say replace it, and it might not be the root problem, but the effect of the engine running wrong since the head job.

sorry, i misread one of your earlier posts. i thought you had said you took off the muffler and it didnt improve. take off the whole rear exhaust section, that shouldn't be welded. you should be able to tell if the muffler is your problem, and/or see into the cat and see if that might be your problem.

Yeah im going to try that and see what happens. I had some fun tonight the headers got a slight bit of red but not like few days ago. You think because I put some Lucas fuel stuff in on E and I could smell it it clogged the cat or fucked up the o2? I only drove like 2 miles to get gas but I could defiantly smell it

See, you think you didn't have a problem, but if you are off just a little bit, it well slowly goof up the cat til it is plugged, it's not an instant issue, then when you fix the cat, you will still have the issue that caused it in the first place.
