    valve springs

    Just wondering i have an e head now ik that it has flimsy valve springs its it posible if i put stiffer springs like i ones in will it be more like and i head or just a retro e ?

    at a whopping 4500rpm you aren't going to get valve float, there will be zero performance gain from stiffer valve springs in an 'e' head.

      yea what he said, if you really wanted too you could swap in some i springs into it but there would be no point because you wont be spinning that little e cam around fast enough to need them. save money for an whole 885 head swap.

            just trying to find the easyest way out of removing the head and puttting the i on and ect if i could just throw the cam in valve spring and ecu with interface in and play around with it
            if needed to yah some on have the supplies to make a seta

              That post makes my head hurt, try using some goddamn punctuation man. Do some more reading on this subject and you will see that putting the I cam in the e head won't work. The e cam has fewer bearing journals than the I cam.

                      it will work if you drill 3 more holes for the bearings. Totally not a big deal.

                      Not sure about drilling them with the head on the car though..
