i want to put an electric fan in my car. i would like to know wht size i should use, a 14" or a 16" fan? if any one can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think a 16" would fit, not flush anyways... I'd prolly stick with 12" or 14"

What size fan to use is a function of the climate the car will see. Here in the south I won't use less than a 16" fan rated at less than 1800cfm. A 16"/2300cfm SPAL puller fan will fit between the radiator and the engine, though it does have to be offset towards the left side.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

the size of teh fan is not what you need to look for.
