325i head valve spring specifications? - stock springs?

    Good Morning,
I want to check my stock valve springs from my 325i head and would like to know what the pressure is to be and at what distance.

    Can anyone help?

I could not find the specifications in my Bentley manual.

    Thanks,
    Chuck

I've never seen a spec on the springs. I check the springs for uniformity and replace any that are soft.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Curious what you typically see for a rate while your checking. Even if there isn't a published rate, I'd like to know what I should be expecting when I check mine.

            Not in doubt, just curious.
