I am new to the e30 scene. I just recently purchased a motor from a guy on this forum and i took it to my college where i am taking an engine machining class. After i disassembled the motor i find a hole in one of the pistons. So now i have a chance to go what ever direction i want. I have a complete 87 2.7L eta motor and i wanted to know if there would be any benefit to running i pistons. I wont be able to afford the i head anytime soon. I am also considering doing super eta pistons or just stock ones. Also would there be any benifit to running seta pistons in my otherwise stock eta? any suggestion?

won't work, both the shape of the piston crown and the piston pin height are different.
seta pistons wont work either without the 885 head, you'll have piston/head interference issues.. eta pistons are flat, i/seta pistons are domed. -

ok thanks for your help. I think that i will just stick with eta pistons for now.sigpic
