      nando and xwill112x thanks for the advice. I am NOT looking to build up this M20. I guess I will let someone else get it who will actually appreciate it.

        yep, talking out your ass. Unless you have experience with this specific cam, or you know anything about how to set an engine up for a specific powerband, you're talking out your ass.

        me being a mod doesn't have anything to do with you being an idiot.

          i have seen dyno plots of highish CR 2.7 and 2.8 withe lowend that is "ordinary" but is good for topend. I use the 285 profile in my engine for the exhaust lobe of M20 3.1L.
          89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...
