    Rebuild

I am looking into rebuilding my m20b25. I think that when brought back to stock spec that it makes enough power. I am curious what others do for a little more power. Just wanted to check my options.
I am still going to drive this 3-4 a week so keep that in mind. Thanks

Or if you can point me in the write direction to some info that would be great.

Presumably you want more than what a E.A.T. Mark D. chip can offer? The big question is if you have emission testing where you live, it makes a difference how you build a motor + your budget.

Well i just found a real nice motor with about 50k miles. So i think I am going to build that up a bit. I was thinking about a cam and some headwork. Any recommendations on a cam? I don't want to go crazy. Is it possible to get a performance cam for under $300?

add another $100 for oversized eccentrics.

screw regrinds, either just buy a new stock cam, or save for a catcams or schrick ~272.

Check out VAC motorsports...they have pretty good prices on the schrick cam.

Another area to consider is the intake....stock is quite restrictive. Miller Performance has something to address it. Beauty of this option is everything is a simple bolt-on process.

I'd really have to take a ride in someones car with the MAF conversion or go against them in a drag race. I am still not convinced that there is an actual gain to be had from the MAF itself (not the software and not the percieved increase due to better response).
