i seafoamed my car. did about 75% through the jet air hose that attaches to the FPR. its on the passenger side of the intake manifold. and about 25% into the gas tank.

    drove about 50 miles afterward.

no problems. no stuttering. no jerking. drove around like it should. i'll post tomorrow whether or not it keeps it up.

        drive home was mostly uneventful.

2 or 3 times there was a small hiccup, but that might just be user error as im not really used to driving in combat boots. and it feels generally slow. i want to say it feels down on power. but im also used to a car with a 4.44 rear end and +120hp so i guess its probably alright.

i still dont trust the engine though. i need to buy that eta engine in PA with 155k.

i swapped in an old 3 bar FPR from my previous 325i. i had swapped it out because i was trying to track down an issue with the car, it turned out to not be the FPR though. so i knew this FPR was functioning at least decently.

it runs MUCH better. it is down about 50hp, it just has no pull anymore at all. but it runs fairly smooth. i'll give it a few days and if it stays smooth i'll order a new 2.5 bar FPR (eta fpr) from blunt.

i replaced a couple old hoses this weekend and got shocked by my spark plug wires. i'm replacing those this weekend. i'll let you know if that fixes my problem. i started my car at night and look at the wires. i can see the sparks around the distributor so theyre junk.
