      tune it properly and run approproiate cam you can run 11:1
      89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

          And MM does provide a chip for their complete engines. They use Mark D software and write the chips custom for their application.

            to get the most out of the engine you're going to want more than just a chip if you want to get every possible HP out of the motor - MM is great, but their main goal is stock reliability with a bit more power, not neccesarily all out raw power. So they tend to be a bit conservative (like with their cams). A chip for the stock ECU is a great place to start though, and a safe way to break in the motor without worrying about the tune too much.

              I totally agree. MM is based on reliability, not guns blazing power. The M20 in my car that they built is an amazing DD engine.
