You can also get 17 lb Bosch design III (plastic bodied) injectors from a 1999 Mercury Cougar V6 I've recently found out.

I think he's referring to 17 lb injectors found on M50's.

I installed a set of 0-280-150-415 (from an M50) on my otherwise stock engine with factory chip and you can tell there is a bit of a difference.

Im going 19lb as soon as my injector rebuild kit comes in the mail. Ill let you know as soon as I get em in. I also have a Maf kit, intake and tune.

all 6 cylinder e30s are 14.5lb injectors.

do whatever you can afford. but make sure you take care of maintenance before go spending $600 on a maf+chip conversion.

On a stock 87' 325is. what size are the injectors? i heard they are about 14.5lb injectors. is this correct? my question is, if i made the jump to 17lb or 19lb injectors with light mods (intake, maf conversion, and chip) would there be any harm? which would you reccomend?
