What is this found inside cracked oilpan?

    Wow impressed. I pulled that thing out and I was like where the hell did this thing come from!!! I don't know M20's too well but I knew for sure it wasn't from the motor. Good eye man.

          Umm it's not a water jacket plug. Its a oil pan plug. Its used if you strip out your threads or lose your plug.... dum dum dom! :up:

              my only experience with one of those type plugs was not good. it left me on the side of the road with no coolant. i can't imagine trying one on my oil pan. but yes...that explains the hoodini majic wing nut through the block trick...

                Also known as "Toggle plugs" had a fair share of those when working at a Jiffy Lube.

                        Because of it's size. We NEEDED to know how much it weighed. I threw a late 90's Accord front knuckle at it in the corner of the shop and killed it. We then placed it on the scale we used to fill nitrous bottles.
