My engine coolant temp. sensor is new. Thoughts?
Interesting. I'll have to see if I notice a difference between hot and cold engine.

However in my case I hope there is no difference. I've gone through every sensor, in most cases replacing, and everything on the sensor side is within spec. It could just be that a cold engine handles or hides a small vacuum leak better?

Also, I believe the ECU operates in open loop when at idle, no? So it wouldn't use the O2 sensor then either.

And now that people are thinking TPS sensor based on my previous comment, I can say that my TPS sensor comes off idle immediately. Another one of my sensors that i know is spot on.

In my case, my O2 sensor is new. I'll have the intake smoked on Sunday, but I don't think this is the problem because I just rebuilt the engine and replaced every seal/gasket/vacuum line. A bad AFM could cause this condition, right?

I also have the same problem, all my seals and gaskets are new. I was thinking it was the AFM or tps
