They're made by kolbenschmidt, second oversize, 84.48mm and part number ks 90102630 which when I search brings up a corresponding part number of 11251714804, which is a piston in the e series, starting from 09/87.

from the pictures, i can say they are for the 885 "i" head. they could be for 2.7 crank/rods or 2.5. how would you expect us to tell the difference from your pictures?
well if you have the part number, why are you asking us what they are? there shouldn't be threads asking "what piston is this?", especially when 2 pistons look the same, and you already have a part number! someone putting together an engine should be able to determine these very simple things, not asking a forum.
What's the point in being rude? I ask because as stated above the exhaust valve recess looks too big for a seta piston. A forum is to help people, not to get on their case cause they asked a question YOU don't think should be asked.

How do you figure? The super ETA uses the SAME head and valves as the 325i. It would make sense that the relief is the same size. Do you have a stock Super ETA piston next to you for comparison?

if the reliefs of SETA and I were the same it would most likely be that the crown would be the same. Given the SETA has more cc and much the same compression this does not add up.

A SETA piston
same bore though, so IMO, reliefs should be the same.
You may have to shove those in a block.
