I would think that without a way to change injector pulse width, you would want to run the fuel pressure that gets your open loop air fuel ratios closest to where you want them so that your o2 feedback system does not need to adjust as much in order to compensate. This way you have a better shot at hitting perfect AFR's , more consistency, and better performance overall (as opposed to the AFR's constantly overshooting and averaging out to be the ideal value)
