"I" vs "E" Rods

    "I" vs "E" Rods

    Are there any advantage in using "I" conrods in my stroker project over the "E" Rods.

    Well, they are different lengths. It all depends on what pistons you are using.

      Yep. Depends on pistons and crank. I rods are 135mm and Eta rods are 130mm. Unless you are building a 2.7L or 2.8L use M5x rods. they are the same length as I rods but are a lot lighter.

        arent the I rods a lot stronger than the E rods as well?

              no.

              to answer the original question - use the longer rods. unless you're doing a junkyard build with used stock pistons, then you could be stuck with the 130mm rods.
