    clutch fan replacement, couple questions

So my car has been slowly raising temp at idle and low speed traffic and after some research i'm assuming its the clutch fan (gonna do the newspaper test tomorrow), while i'm down there replacing it, anything else I should check/replace/adjust/(insert maintenance action here)?

if its the clutch fan your temp would sky rocket at low speed. maybe you had a stuck open thermostat or the PO took it out. it would cause continuous water flow which result in low temp.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

did you try to the newspaper test? Have you tried just pushing it and seeing what kind of resistance it offers?

While you are driving have your window down and see if you can hear the fan staying engaged. the sound is distinct as it sounds like your blower fan on high speed as you accelerate. Not all clutches stop hooking up. Some stay hooked up and this puts load on the engine. usually affect fuel consumption.

Clutch fans can go bad slowly and only cause your temp to increase a little while not moving. Cheap enough part, replace, profit.

Check the basics to begin with, if you haven't already.
Flush out your radiator, and also clean the fins thoroughly. Poor airflow = poor cooling.
