Just recived my Schrick 272 and was wondering if i need to get upgraded valve springs, if so what strength.

You will be good with a new set of stock dual springs. -
yeah, no need for super stiff springs with that cam. when you get to the schrick 288 then you need to get serious about it. definitely new stock ones at the minimum though (don't try to use 250,000 mile springs from a JY engine).Comment

haha. im wondering the same. some ppl say just turbo the motor, who cares. but i think this is important. especially on a car with 200,000+ miles!
definitely the double springs tho huh? when u do that new seals also im guessing.
wheres a good place to get these at a reasonable price without loosing quality?

on a side note jules, did u replace any of your bearings in the motor. how important would something like this be for the motor running more aggressive or at a higher RPM?m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

anyway, if ur doing your cam shouldnt u get the old rocker arms outta there. fresh cam with rockers and valve springs. thats the best way to do itm20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.
