Hesitating? Feels like fuel is cutting out?

I was driving on the highway and my car hesitated real hard and the tach started going down slowly. So I put it in neutral and coasted for a bit and then it seemed to run fine again. It's happened a few times, seems like fuel is cutting out. Could this be a fuel pump problem? Or a bad FPR?

Changed it today and still hesitated once I was on the highway. Should I do FPR next?

Swap your main relay out with a known good one.

Pretty sure that will solve your problem

It could be a number of things. Check the main relay as stated above, then check your coil to see if it is in good working/ physical order, check your main ground as well.

I will buy a new main relay tomorow and see how that goes. I had a problem with the coil before so I bought a new one. Is the main ground the one that goes from the block to the body? Thanks for the info guys

Also I read it could be a dirty c101 plug? Is this right?

I'm having the same problem (-_-) I'm checking my FPR and Fuel Pump this weekend. Does yours do it while you're driving in the street as well?

it could be your fuel pump starting to go. Have you run the fuel very low recently? That tends to stir up sediment and clog stuff...

I usually get gas before the light turns on. So I dont think I run it down that low. It doesn't do it very often maybe once a day if that. I think it's mostly when I drive it pretty hard lol.

Fuel relay?? Or fusible link?! Bad external pump (if it has one). Fuel filter of any kind?! Dirty injectors, fuel rail! Fuel pressure regulators. Like listed above main relay. Grounds?!

Take a look at your plugs. This happened to me and they were fouled.

does the car jerk a little after it catches. check your plugs, cap and rotor.. chances are your rotor is shaved down and isnt catching a good spark on the cap.
