No fuel or spark = no cps connectivity. Either the plug came loose, wire grounded out, or sensor went bad. Make sure the bracket that holds it to the block is tight, and that the bolts that hold the trigger wheel on are tightened all the way.
Edit: just saw you have an early model. If you have the 2 sensors in the bell housing instead of the cps check the wiring/plugs for those, and check that the trigger pin is still in the fly wheel.

Fuck its doing it again... I'm stuck at work now! The little wire i plugged in last time wasnt the cps but another one... It had a round single pin connector the goes from the passenger side over and clips into the loom that atached to the water pump. What is that connector?
I fig maybe the pins were going bad so i cut the wires and twisted them together to no avail...
Help!!!

2 pins on the CPS (forgot which ones but one outside and the middle) should ohm between 500-800 if i remember correctly.
Make sure the wire didnt rub on the fan pulley, had that happen to me when i first bought the car. I thank god the previous owner did a crappy stereo install and i was able to remove speaker wire and re-wire the cps sensor to get me home.
Also make sure the main and fuel pump relays didnt pop out, that happened to me as well.
