    So, about those Injectors...

What would prevent them from letting fuel through?
    They are rebuilt injectors
Fuel pressure is good @ the rail
    Cps is new
    Relays are good
    No vacuum leaks
    Fires up with starter fluid

Tested damn near everything i can think of.
    DME
    AFM
    TPS
    ICV
    FPR
    etc
    etc
    etc

WTF is preventing my car from starting?

BTW, its an 88 Seta. M20B27

Please help, I've checked and rechecked these forums and the usual suspects for a no start. Im at a dead end. :(

    Thanks.

Add wiring, improperly rebuilt injector(s). How did you test the DME, because that is the last possible possibility :)

What is the rail fuel pressure when cranking?
Are the injectors firing (use a noid light)?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

IIRC the eta has two crank sensors did you check both?

uh, not the super eta. It has the one like a late model on the front of the motor.
None @ the bell housing. If thats what you're talking about.
Still cant find the problem tho. Checked all the fuses and relays and now im on to the wiring harness itself. ugh...
... maybe i'll part it out.

did you swap the CPS and wire coming from the spark plugs? you know under the diagnostic port.

did u rebild the stock injectors or replace them with another set? the SETA cant use the regular eta's 19lb injectors for example and wouldn't fire them

well, after rebuilding the original ones, i sourced a set of m50 17lb injectors and rebuilt those, To no avail.
out of cuiosity tho, What would prevent the seta from firing the eta 19pounders?

did you accidentally switch the fuel lines?

                        +1 to jlevie's comment.

Noid light to test injector pulse.

If it's all the injectors are not working, then there's only a few things that can cause it. You've listed that you checked most of them. I'd do a noid light test, very easy.

they are low impedance. you'll fry the ECU.

Thats what i was thinking, but the 17lb ones should be okay tho cuz they should be high impedance right?
