Yeah. Not too shabby. Tuner feels like the cat and stock headers/exhaust is what prevented us to get a bit more out of it. It feels great. Think I will love it more when I go the 3.73

I have a 2.7i thats setup similar to the guy above (#19, tune, no cat 2.5" exhaust) and it pulls harder than any stck m20b25 i have driven to date. Perhaps there are b25s out there that would, but i havent driven one.
so you put in seta block?

Believe it or not, the engineers that designed the head knew what they were doing and got it to flow pretty well!

so youre saying any ported head wouldnt flow as well? if theres more space, and its a flush and even port how could it flow worse then stock?

I'm curious because I'm on the verge of buying a ported and rebuilt head.

I am just saying that there is a lot of thought put into directing air so it flows smoothly. Not EVERY ported head will flow worse than stock, but it is easy to make the head flow worse than stock if the porter doesn't really have a firm understanding of what they are doing.

Why don't you pick up the "i" exhaust? Always see them for sale cheap. Did you already get a new clutch, resurface the flywheel, etc?

BTW, I was running lean before I dropped in the 19# injectors if you have not thought of that yet.

Yea exhaust can wait. How are you running lean on a stock set mup? Im not going to run a aftermarket cam anymore. I shouldnt have any issues.

No idea. But before the injector upgrade and tuning, I was lean.

                          Small update.

Picked up a head/intake and tb about two weeks ago. Had the head sent out. Was sand blasted, hot tanked deck .0100 , valve/seats ground new guides and a little more work. The head looks brand new. Got my parts from pelican few days ago and got all my I swap parts yesterday. Looks like weds. I will start the build. Ill be sure to take pix. Total amount spent for swap and rebuilt head 520.00
