    Insturment cluster help

I have swapped motors (m20b27 for an m20b25). I want to know if I can use pieces from my original insturment cluster to either swap the fuel gauge into the m20b25 cluster from the original or if I'm better off to use the original cluster and just swap the tach from the m20b25 into it. I have a 55L fuel tank but the I cluster I have swapped is for a 65L tank. (fuel gauge is presently useless). Can I swap components in the clusters or am I stuck looking for a new cluster?

Swap only the fuel gauge and you should be fine.

I'd just swap in the tach from an M20B25 cluster into the cluster you have.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Depends on what year your car is. Can't go wrong with just swapping the fuel gauge though. It's pretty easy and fully compatible.

i had to swap in my org fuel gauge. The cluster im using was from a 88. At a full tank ( to the gas cap ) gauge showed 3/4's. I drove around for 2 weeks like that, finally I got tired of it and put in my old gauge from the E cluster. What do you...Ive been driving on empty even tho the old gauge showed half tank. Took me 5mins total. Removing cluster , installing gauge and installed back in the car. Very easy GL

You would need a coding chip from a B25. If its a 85/85 cluster like mine was you cant remove the coding chip. I went ahead and swapped the full cluster. PNP
