no skid plate = shaved oil drain nut

so i was trying to change my oil over the weekend and i noticed my oil drain nut has been shaved down from a bad scrap i guess. I dont recall scrapping hard since my last oil change but it is what it is i guess. My question is does anybody know what i can do to remove it? i tried wrenching it off but it wont turn because of how bad it is. Should i take it to get cut off? Im not quite sure what i should do.

Kind of hard to see it in the pic but the bottom of the but that has been flattened also has part of the oil pan folded on it from where the pan hit the floor which prevents it from rotating.

mine is pretty messed up too, i'd use vice grips. You should see how many vbands i go through on my exhaust. I've ripped at least 5 off sense i've put it on. I don't know how people run a 3in exhaust on a lowered e30

Getting your installer to tuck it nicely and put the v-bands in appropriate places!

man i cant get it off. basically where the pan hit the floor, it pushed or folded onto my nut and is preventing it from being able to twist. if that makes sense.

they are bolt and nut extractors for rounded bolts and nuts

obviously if it was a broken bolt those wouldnt work ud need a reverse drill bit or screw extractor for a drill

but yeah if u have screwed up bolts that u cant get off those work wonders. we use em when lug nuts get stuck/rounded off

fyi if u want a good way of avoiding that bs everytime u scrape just get a drain plug with a insert that does the same job but on the orientation of our drain plug it may not drain enough to but its better than fighting a ruined drain plug everytime

Just wait for a manhole cover or a dip to rip the pan off. No more drain plug worries.

you should get a hammer and chisel and put a deep groove in it and thenwith the chisel in place hit the hammer the way it would come off ive done it on little bit smaller bolts could be the same concpt? since the drain plug bolt is bigger...
