So I know that for chevy's and fords and most American cars you can buy the kit to make your own spark plug wires and was wondering if anyone has done this before and what ones I can use. I can find the standard 7mm everywhere but I'm looking for something bigger like the 8mm ones. I searched the threads and couldn't find anything on this.

Make your own spark plug wires?

Yes. It's not hard to do with a few tools. I used the MSD 8.5mm superconductor kit with enough wire for a V8. So I could have made 2 sets. Problem was they produced too much EMI which showed up as noise in the stereo and I can't have that. Magnecor's seem to be much better in that department but I don't know if they sell a universal kit."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
