    E to i tach wiring

i guys, im having a hard time figuring out the wiring to get my tach working, if searched and searched and i always get "connect the black to black then done", but im not sure i have the same connectors or if i do am i not using the right wires.Which wires go where?

My 2.7i is finally running great i just need to get this going. Any input would help greatly :p

Please exuse these terrible pictures as well.

Engine speed input on cluster is in blue plug, pin 7, color black.

Engine speed output on ECM is pin 6, color black.

    These must be connected together.

Is there another connector for the econometer or is mine shot? I connected black to get the tach working and the yellow for the obc to measure speed, what does the third wire do?

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Can you take a picture of the wires you connected? im not seeing the clack wires. there is a black with white strip on the ECU harness and a solid black one the white 3 pin connector in the first pic and that didnt work for me.

i know this should be a no brain-er and take 2 min.

What wiring does need doing is for instrumental purposes only and is easiest to carry out on the ECU plug end. There are two wires you need to cut on the ECU plug and then connect to the C104 plug which will now be unconnected following the removal of the old loom. The easiest thing to do is cut the matching plug from the old loom and plug it into the loose plug in the car. Then you need to connect pin #1 (Blk/Blu) on the C104 to pin #6 (Blk) on the ECU, the second connection to make is to connect C104 pin #3 (Wht) to ECU pin #32 (Wht/Blk), C104 pin #2 is not used.
