    fan removal?

    I searched but did not find

    how the hell do I get this fan off of the water pump? I don't have and cannot get a fan tool

        Whatever you grab it with gets a good smack on the handle to free up the fan...oh...and its a left hand thread :-)

            i just use a bit of steel plate with notch cut into to so it looks like spanner then smack it with a hammer.......
            89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

              go buy a cheap 1-1/4" wrench. Grind it down if it won't slide in. The one I got at AZ fit.

              Whack it with a hammer and it should come loose. righty=loosey as said above...
              1990 325is - sterling silver, very nice, maybe for sale
