    Charcoal Canister Purge valve P/N?

Does anyone know the Part Number for this thing? I cannot find emissions related stuff on real OEM at all.
Mine has a tear where it connects to the TB. I tired to take a pic with my phone, but its tough to make out.

It has vac hoses connected to the TB and the charcoal canister, and then a connector that goes into the same loom as the TPS sensor.

Its pictured in the Bentley section 6-16

    Anyone know the Part Number?

Wait..looks like Real OEM calls it something different.
        Is this it? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...07&hg=16&fg=10

If so, fuck that. $165 for this thing? Can I just bypass it and plug the ports on the TB?

The Bosch part number on the valve is 0280142150. The rubber hose that connects it to the TB has part number 1012552-4. If that rubber part is all that is broken you can just pull it off the valve and replace it with a piece of 6mm Id fuel hose, or you can remove it and plug the TB.

i was wondering the same thing because my canister was rusted and where the hose connected acctually snapped the metal on the canister.

so could i just find a junkyard one and replace it??

you can use pretty much any 2-wire bosch PWM purge valve from the E30 era to nearly present day. go to a junkyard and find one off a VW jetta or something
